About me

Philosophy

To harmonize the knowledge and experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with the knowledge and methods of Western medicine in the 21st century - that is my ambition! I am convinced that with the parallel use of both medical approaches holistic and above all sustainable healing and preventive practices are attainable.

Education and Awards

In 1998 I graduated as a Master of Acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine with Professor Dr. Xuan Zhang Wang at the Hilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, Harbin, China. This degree is equivalent to an academic title in China.

In 2016, I was appointed as a board member of the "Scientific Society for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology, Guizhou Province, Tuina Massage Branch".

For fourteen years I worked in Harbin, China, in the university hospital there, later also as a certified head of the nurses' department for intensive care medicine. Here I was able to acquire comprehensive knowledge in the fields of gastroenterology, cardiovascular diseases and the care of severely disabled, ventilated patients. In this field I am still working in Berlin today.

Continuing education/ advanced training

I regularly deepen my knowledge of acupuncture at the chair of my former professor Dr. Wang in Harbin, China.

I have also obtained a further degree as "Master of Chiropractic" at the Institute "Dr. Ackermann, Stockholm". This enables me to combine western techniques of osteopathy, holistic chiropractic, manual joint therapy and pain prophylaxis with the Tuina techniques (manual therapy, based on a holistic diagnosis according to the rules of Chinese medicine).

In addition, I have acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of nutritional therapy, dietetics, food allergy and diagnostics, emergency medicine and injection techniques and I am continuously training myself in these areas.

By obtaining the IHK examination of expertise "Retail sale of over-the-counter drugs" I am authorized to process and sell Chinese herbal medicine products in Germany.

Born in the northern Chinese university town of Harbin, I have been living in Berlin since 2002. Since 2013 I have been running my TCM practice in Berlin with a team of now seven employees.
